April had 2 films in our festival (According to Plan and The Parallax.) You can quote me as saying this year’s Young Filmmaker category received record number of film submissions.  We at Gasparilla International Film Festival are proud a local young filmmaker won the award and filmmaking in Florida by youth is excelling in the Tampa Bay area.
