Arts Education Leadership Summit in Tampa — June 14 – 16, 2012 — important state policy makers are attending — are you?

This is an important reminder for you or someone on your staff to attend the Florida Alliance for Arts Education Leadership Summit.  This summit is a great opportunity to demonstrate to our new Secretary of State Ken Detzner, our Commissioner of Education Gerard Robinson, and school administrators throughout our state that there are MANY OF US who are dedicated to sustain and expand arts education opportunities within and outside of our schools — all of these important and powerful policy makers will be in attendance at this summit.

Below is general information about the summit, and you can easily register to participate online at http://www.faae.org/leadership-summit.  Please partcipate; and please encourage your arts and cultural organizations to send representatives – let’s all show up and speak up for arts education in our communities.  This summit will have powerful policy makers participating, and they must see us and hear from us about the value of arts education and the arts.  Please participate, and encourage others to participate in this important arts education summit.  Thank you so much, and I look forward to seeing you in Tampa June 14 – 16.
