Haines City Community Theatre has new Home

Haines City Community Theatre is pleased to announce that they have a new home!

After almost a year of looking, Haines City Community Theatre has entered into an agreement with the City of Haines City for use of the old library building located at 303 Ledwith Ave. in front of Lake Eva Park. When their old space had to be shut down suddenly due to structural damage, HCCT found themselves without a location to perform plays in. After approaching the city about the use of the old library building they were able to come to an agreement that would involve sharing the building with Leisure Services, an arrangement very similar to the one they had for use of the old theatre at the Clay Cut Center.

Because of the renovations involved in transforming the library into a theatre, HCCT has been unable to offer any shows this season. If upgrades can be completed in time, they hope to offer a show in late April, otherwise they look forward to offering their patrons a complete season of plays next year.

To keep informed on the latest developments, one can visit the website at www.hainescitytheatre.com, “Like” them on facebook, or call the theatre at 863-421-1893 to hear the current message.
