Greetings!
Call to all artists! We are looking for artists and performers to participate in this year’s 4th annual Art In Transit week sponsored by Polk County’s Citrus Connection! Live art and creative performances are scheduled to occur during normal bus hours (between 8AM-6PM) the week of April 13th-18th. This home grown community initiative encourages residents to utilize public transportation and seeks to bring live art – in all forms – to the general public!
Everyone is welcome to participate and all varieties of expression are welcome including (but not limited to): vocal, instrumental, visual, as well as poetry & prose. Visit the Art In Transit Tumblr page for additional information and a link to sign up. The deadline for artists sign ups is March 30th. While we encourage artistic spontaneity, any performance proposal submitted after March 30th will not appear on the official schedule of events.
