Mission

The Mission of the Polk Arts Alliance is to cultivate an environment in which the arts flourish.  The Alliance endeavors to accomplish this through advocacy, coordination, economic development, education and promotion.  Specific functions of Polk Arts Alliance are:
  • Advocacy on behalf of the arts
  • Marketing of the nonprofit arts organizations in Polk County
  • Further development of the arts industry/cultural planning
  • Working closely with the Cultural Arts Council, the Advisory Board to the PAA Board of Directors
  • Enhancing stability and development for established and emerging arts organizations.
