Advocacy

Advocacy is one of our five key principles.  Support for the arts requires constant and consistent advocacy efforts.  But, it is a shared journey with arts organizations, artists, fine arts educators, arts’ volunteers, student artists, individual artists and all others.  Often it becomes a battle to maintain and increase funding for the arts.

The arts are an effective means to improve academic learning, build culture, develop community and enhance personal growth and maturity.  Polk Arts Alliance provides ideas, expertise, practical knowledge and service.
