The opening reception for the Transforming Florida Art Show at the Lake Wales Arts Center takes place on December 15 from 5-7pm in the Michael Crews Gallery.
Transforming Florida Art Show Artists from Florida were invited to enter this 4th annual juried event to compete for cash awards. Artists were encouraged to interpret the theme however they wished, thus providing a wonderful variety of themed art using an array of techniques and media. The exhibit runs from December 15, 2011 – January 26, 2012.
The Michael Crews Gallery is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Check the Lake Wales Arts Council website for special holiday or Saturday hours.
