Learn the basics of photographic lighting with am emphasis on portraits and studio lighting from Gregory Mills (B.F.A., Studio Art, Appalachian State University).

Students will learn how to use backdrops, reflectors, strobe lights, Speedlights, umbrellas and softboxes. Students will walk away with an understanding of how to start with a single, inexpensive flash and build off that to eventually have a full photo studio setup for indoor or outdoor photography.
