Creative Studies: Victim and Victimizer

Saturday, October 15, 2011 — 5:00 PM TO 7:30 PM

Presented by: Dr. Larry Rankin

COST: $12 Members, $15 Non-Members

A victim and victimizer live within all of us. This conflict is approached in British playwright Caryl Churchill’s 10-minute, seven-act piece Seven Jewish Children. The Center for Creative Studies will facilitate a dramatic reading of this play as a starting point to broach this topic. Additional lines will be invited from participants to balance bias found in Churchill’s rendering. The group will explore this important question: How does victim/victimizer drama play in our own national history and personal lives?

Join the Center for Creative Studies the third Saturday of every month for wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and an intellectually stimulating program about Art, Spirituality, Health or Creativity.
